My name is Laura Avila and I was born in Cleveland, Ohio. Seven years ago I moved to Houston, Texas where I graduated from The Awty International School with the IB (International Baccalaureate) diploma. I have ridden horses competitively ever since I was about six years old and will continue to ride here at Trinity on my own and with the Trinity equestrian team. I will be bringing my horse from Houston to San Antonio in just a few weeks. I have two sisters, Sarah and Elizabeth. Sarah is 22 and a senior at Pomona College in California and Elizabeth is 16, just starting her sophomore year at Episcopal High School in Houston. When I was in high school I took a computer course my freshman year as an elective. I am fairly comfortable with Excel because I had to use it for a two year math project as well as 60 plus hours of biology labs. I am fairly comfortable with basic tasks on computers but if I had to fix anything or if it is anything outside of a basic program I am totally lost.

Laura, thanks for a good entry - did you see that there was a person from Russia who has your "original" login name? I thought that was interesting. Thanks, too, for giving me some insights into your computer background. I need all the help I can get when it comes to Excel!! What's your horse's name?Ms. Belisle

I had 3 horses but i had to sell them do to health reasons. I love riding though. ttyl
